[HT Forum] story in "The Times"

Just in case anyone was worried by the front page story in "The Times" that the Church of England was about to unite under the Pope.  The Times has had 83 such stories over the last 20 years.  The first was on January the 19th 1977.

There was also a story on the front page on a different day saying that the Roman Catholic Church in England was about to be bigger than the Church of England because of Polish immigrants.  It has been calculated that 21 million, more than half the population of Poland, would be needed for this to happen.

It tells us something about The Times, but nothing about the real world or the church.
