[HT Forum] It's Your Move

It's that time of year again where many young people are facing great changes in their lives. Please can you pray for the following and consider how you can help practically as well.

* Give thanks for the continued enthusiasm of the local junior schools for the It's Your Move programme that we offer and pray for that those who have not booked a session yet will remember to do so soon!

* Thank God for the way in which the County department of Extended Services have enthusiastically welcomed the service that the churches of Aylesbury are offering with It's Your Move and the way in which they want to use the team to widen the care to parents of Year sixes. Please pray for Carolyn Edwards and Lisa Green as they work on this together and that the parents will see God's love for them as they too make the transition!

* So far we have requests for over 500 books, please pray for the financial provision by the churches for this gift (books cost about £12 for 10 books)

* Please pray for the team (so far Carolyn Edwards, Dave Rollins, Rich Turner and Amy Henderson) as they visit the schools. That God will give them the wisdom and grace to impart his wonderful love to his precious young people as they tell the story of Joseph and work through the issues facing the children.

* Pray for other children and young people (not just those in year six) who are facing change. Those moving from infant to junior, those leaving school, moving on to sixth form or about to go to University. That God will bless their decisions and that they will seek and know his presence in their lives.

* Consider blowing about a dozen eggs. These are used as a prop in the It's Your Move session, and it would be really helpful if someone else could do this as Gideon and Holly are allergic to egg and there is only so much ommelette Mathew can eat and it is another stress that we could do without!!
