[HT Forum] quick feedback request

Hi HT Forum,

I have been asked to put forward some proposals to improve the way we
do the HT website and mailing lists.

I would hugely value and welcome your views at this early stage in the process.

Please reply with your original views and/or responses to the 10
questions that follow. It would be easier for me and possibly for
yourself also if you embedded your short answers after each question
by way of reply to this email. But if you write an essay I promise to
read it.

Please bear in mind this is not en exam. If you don't know the answer
to a question off the top of your head I would like to hear the answer
"don't know".

Your responses are totally confidential. I would expect to use the
information to help produce a bettter website, perhaps sharing summary
information with the DCC communications group.

1) How often do you access the church website (http://htaylesbury.org)?

2) What for...?

3) You received this small survey because you belong to the HT Forum
mailing list. How many other mailing lists does HT have?

4) What are they called?

5) Which HT mailing lists do you belong to?

6) Before you read this question, how easy was it to see old mailing
list messages on the church website at each of the following
locations?

7) Before you read this question, did you know if you changed your
email address then someone -- possibly you -- had to edit your entry
in each mailing list you belonged to?

8) Did you know that you were given a different password to protect
your entry in each of the mailing lists you belong to, and how helpful
were the multiple monthly automatic password reminder messages?

9) Bearing in mind your answers to the previous 2 questions, how much
better would the system be if you only had one password to remember
and one email address entry to keep up to date no matter how many
mailing lists you belonged to?

10) This small survey has focussed mostly on the mailing lists. What
else would you like to say about HT electronic communications perhaps
about which I have not asked?
