Hi,

Sokwanele -- Enough Is Enough (http://www.sokwanele.com/thisiszimbabwe/).

A coalition of South Africa based Non Governmental Organisations are
organising Stand Up For Zimbabwe Day
(http://www.standupforzimbabwe.org/) this Sunday 25th May on what has
always been Africa day. This is quite appropriate as those who know
anything of Southern Africa will tell you that what happens in Zim
affects very much what happens in the rest of Southern Africa.

Kate Swan has suggested making a video over half term the purpose of
which would include:-
+ encourage westerners to pray about the issues, the horrors and the
beauties of Zimbabwe,
+ let persecuted Zimbabweans and their leaders know that we do indeed
care -- in our hearts we are cheering them on.
I would certainly like to do that if we are able to source pictures
and music with appropriate permissions to re-use them.

Also it happens there is a vigil (http://www.zimvigil.co.uk/) every
Saturday afternoon outside the Zimbabwean embassy on The Strand, for
example this Saturday 24 May.

These are both key actions we can take to show the reality of the
situation, despite the "unreality" of those who prepare (survive even)
to vote on 27 June 2008 in a country of increasing madness and
violence.

If anyone is interested in joining either of these enterprises I would
be very pleased to here from you.

God Bless You.
